Duties
Plans, develops, coordinates, organizes, schedules, publicizes and directs a large, diversified installation intramural program.
Determines and offers numerous sports opportunities for service members for competition and tournament participation and access to higher level competition.
Determines supplies and equipment necessary and initiates requisitions for effective and efficient operation of the program. Ensures proper accountability, maintenance and care of equipment.
Supervises and reviews the daily work of sports and field maintenance staff.
Works with and coordinates programs with other DFMWR activities and attends meetings.
Requirements

- A one-year supervisory probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Physical Examination is required.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in planning, supervising, administering, or carrying out a sports program that included a variety of individual and team sports. This experience may have been gained managing or administering a sports program in a community, industrial activity, school or college; or planning, teaching, or evaluating a physical education curriculum, for a secondary or higher academic level. Experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Experience may be substituted with a four year degree with an emphasis related to the duties performed e.g. physical education/sports/fitness/recreation etc.
