About the position: This position will be assigned to the Family Campground, Hanscom AFB, MA.
This position is a flexible position, may work 0-40 hours per week based on mission/programming requirements. This position requires shift work to provide coverage on weekends, holidays, and special occasions. This position will be filled for the 2024 Summer season only.
Candidate must be able to frequently lift and carry objects weighing 40 pounds and occasionally more.
Duties
Provides customer service for FamCamp patrons. Registers campers and assigns campsites. Collects fees, operates cash register, prepares daily reports and makes bank deposits. Maintains grounds and interpretive trail, operates weed eater, lawn mower, clears small trees and bushes using handsaws, hatchets or clippers. Makes minor repairs to equipment/facilities. Clean bathhouses/toilets/showers

Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
- The position requires the satisfactory completion of a pre-employment physical.
- This position requires shift work that may include weekends, nights and holiday
- This position has a driving requirement. A valid driver's license is required and this position will be subject to pre-employment and random drug testing.
