Duties

Manages the Defense Travel System (DTS) and Defense Travel Card Program for the Material Readiness Division (MRD). Provide executive office administrative support to the Commander of 627th Logistics Readiness Squadron. Use various databases to prepare rosters of employees who are due performance appraisals), Officer Performance Report (OPR), Enlisted Performance Reports (EPR), bi-weekly or as needed. Train military and civilian staff members on office procedures. Operate automated equipment with features such as database, word processing, telecommunications and spreadsheets.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time.
  • This position requires a typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute (WPM) based on a 5 minute sample with 3 or fewer errors.
  • This position requires the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a Tier 1 (NACI) investigation.

OR Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Business Administration or applicable field(s) of study OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Activity Program Coordinator for Purchase CardClericalData Entry and AnalysisTechnical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
