Duties

Maintain quality control through oversight of subordinates and inspection of contractor work. Establish process/procedural direction/operating instructions to facilitate accurate/timely processing of personal property shipment/storage requests. Provide technical assistance, advice, and decisions related to the movement and/or storage of personal property. Perform a full range of first and second line supervisor duties for personnel assigned to various geographically dispersed locations. Develop, coordinate, and implement traffic management plans, programs, policies, procedures and techniques applicable to the preparation, movement, storage, and payment of personal property.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
• Temporary Duty Travel of 25% may be required.
• Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a valid State Driver's License.

OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as accounting, business administration, business or commercial law, commerce, economics, engineering, finance, industrial management, statistics, traffic management, transportation, motor mechanics, or other fields related to the position. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
