THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a MANAGEMENT ANALYST-Title 5, Position Description Number T5180000 and is part of the WI USPFO, Wisconsin National Guard.
Duties
Reviews organizational information regarding inventory management, storage management, equipment coordination fiscal and supply management utilizing inspection reports, applicable Department of Army (DA) regulations, and activity mission statements to identify tentative sub-objectives or firm objectives regarding stock record operations.
Performs management studies of organization's auditable entity to identify potential problems such as reviewing operating procedures and management practices of the activity.
Conducts troubleshooting and management studies to ascertain the need for changes in existing management systems or methods of operation such as work processes, functional responsibility, operating techniques, organizational structure and other factors effecting the efficient and economical use of available resources.
Performs the duties of the supply support activity Accountable Officer.
Assignments involve several specialized areas of management such as organizational analysis, work methods and standards, procedure analysis, and management statistics.
Accomplishes management studies by applying best business practices and basic audit techniques to gather, document, and summarize data.
Assigns work to functional staff members in accordance with established organization mission and functions, workload fluctuations and personnel availability.

Qualifications
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, or training in administrative, professional, investigative, technical, or other responsible work which demonstrates analytical ability and a practical and theoretical knowledge of the functions, processes, and principles of management. Knowledge of the National Guard organizational structures, functions, procedures, and techniques. Experience using computer and automation systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: You must have at least 1-year specialized experience, education, or training equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Experience analyzing, interpreting, and developing policies and procedures of local management. Candidate has experience shipping, tracking, and receiving property from outside organizations. Experience coordinating physical transfers of property or equipment within government agencies. Candidate has experience with management of storage, receipt, and shipping of a radiation program. Candidate has experience with management storage, receipt, and shipping of a HAZMAT program. Must have experience with physical security and the storage and shipment of sensitive/controlled items. Experience with material handling equipment to include management, drive, maintenance/operation of program. Candidate has Microsoft Suite experience and is knowledgeable on SAP data base platform for example: GCSS Army. Must be willing to become OSHA-30HR certified.
