About the Position: As a Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) Program Prevention Specialist (SAR WF), you are responsible for the planning, execution, coordination, and evaluation of prevention activities and training, education, and outreach efforts to prevent sexual harassment and sexual assault.
Duties
Develop, implement, and maintain administrative practices that comply with Department of Army (DA) and Major Command (MACOM) guidance to create effective and efficient origination business processes.
Serves as focal point for strategic and change management, business process improvement and reengineering, organizational capability maturity and governance.
Maintain senior leadership personnel profiles and ensure accurate and timely submission of actionable items.
Provide for the improvement and simplification of reporting requirements through analysis of data reported, analysis of the requirements and methods for preparation of reports.
Use professional knowledge to support the command’s integrated prevention efforts to include planning, implementation and evaluation of outcomes against sexual harassment and sexual assault.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- TDY (Travel) may be required up to 25% of the time for this position.
- Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET Clearance.
- Minimum of a favorable suitability determination on a Tier 3 background investigation.
- Must attend and graduate from required SHARP training courses within six months of employment.

Basic Requirement:
Degree: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position.
or
Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
or
Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: Specialized Experience: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work of this position. Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled, such as: Coordinating activities among the community to promote prevention of sexual harassment and assault; utilizing automated systems to extract and analyze data to manage information and providing recommendations regarding administrative and operational aspects to enhance readiness across numerous organizations concerning the prevention of sexual harassment and assault.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
Education
