Duties
Responsibilities This position is located
in the Emergency Planning Section (EPS), Coordination Division (CRD), Command
and Coordination Bureau (CCB), Office of the Assistant Chief of Police for
Uniformed Operations, United States Capitol Police (USCP).
Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below.For the CP-09 grade
level, at least one (1) year of qualifying specialized experience is required
at/or equivalent to the CP-08/GS-10 grade level. Specialized experience must
have equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities
to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such qualifying specialized
experience must have included experience creating or working with emergency
planning for comprehensive agency-wide crisis management, emergency/disaster
management and continuity of operations policies and plans.At the CP-10 grade
level, at least one year of qualifying specialized experience is required at/or
equivalent to the CP-09/GS-11 grade level. Specialized experience must have
equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to
successfully perform the duties of the position. Such qualifying specialized
experience must have included developing and coordinating comprehensive
continuity of operations plans in accordance with established goals; making
policy recommendations pertaining to emergency management programs;
recommending strategies to strengthen an organization's response to incidents
and emergencies; analyzing and evaluating training results and applying and
communicating written complex emergency management concepts to diverse
audiences; or supporting law enforcement operations to mitigate or respond to
threats. Desirable Knowledge: National Incident Management System (NIMS) and Incident
