Duties
As an AudioVisual Production Specialist (Scheduler), you will:
Serve as principal technical manager responsible for coordinating and scheduling daily nationwide videoconferences between 86 HUD Offices throughout the continental U.S., Puerto Rico and Hawaii.
Serve as Scheduling Administrator, responsible for the maintenance and posting of all videoconferences through the daily management of the HUD Web based Videoconferencing calendar.
Coordinate with the Wide Area Network (WAN) to provide technological direction for the traffic management of six (6) major PicturTel communications networks, and are responsible for the administration, development, and operations coordination of training and information videoconferencing systems to HUD Headquarters and Field office employees.
Manage the installation and implementation of new videoconferencing technologies and software. Be responsible for developing and coordinating nationwide training for all HUD staff users in the field and at Headquarters.
Manage and perform operations analysis through a variety of methods, evaluating information and training delivery methodologies, including live television, videoconferencing, Webcasting and audiovisual presentation systems.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized Experience: For the GS-12 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:
Planning and coordinating large scale conferences, meetings or other event management activities; AND
Synthesizing, communicating, and summarizing program information for a variety of audiences; AND
Managing relationships with external stakeholders; AND
Writing, editing and 508 remediating products to create content for events and sharing it through various channels, including email, training, webinars, and website.
Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-12 you must have been at the GS-11 level for 52 weeks.
Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
