This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for (DIB) (MRTFB) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Duties
Receive a variety of test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment (TMDE) for cyclic calibration and repair as prescribed by the Army's Calibration Program.
Instruct units on proper method for submitting requests for TMDE to be added to the calibration Requirements Bulletin.
Review computer listings to assure accuracy of input data based on knowledge of established calibration procedures, workflow process, and jobs in progress.
Utilize personal computer to produce, copy and edit a variety of standardized documents and use advanced type of software systems (spreadsheet, database, graphics, etc.) to produce a wide range of information, requiring complex formats.
Serve as Government Purchase Card (GPC) cardholder to process procurement transactions up to the micro-purchase threshold in accordance with governing regulations and procedures.

Qualifications

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service: (1) collecting, compiling, and retrieving information from recurring and special reports utilizing a maintenance management systems such as TIMMS (Test, Measurement, Diagnostic Equipment - Integrated Maintenance Management System) (2) selecting and researching appropriate technical bulletins pertaining to designated TMDE to identify calibration requirements; AND/OR (3) coordinating and controlling equipment flow; monitoring machine status listings, reviewing data, and preparing reports and (4) coordinates with supported units to ensure effective, efficient, and timely accomplishment of maintenance and calibration of each item of equipment. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
