About the Position: This position operates within the Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) Testing Section to ensure testing is administered in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD) and United States Military Entrance Processing Command (USMEPCOM) Military Personnel Testing Program policies and procedures.
Duties
Ensure timely entry of validated test scores into the automated accessions systems.
Ensure supporting documents are present and completed properly.
Oversee the use of automated scoring equipment and conducts scoring analysis to ensure proper function and validation of test scoring.
Resolve test scoring automation issues, requesting assistance, from Headquarters United States Military Entrance Processing Command (USMEPCOM) as necessary.
Ensure standard and secure score transmittal procedures are in place for locations where automated testing or scoring equipment is used.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Regular evening and weekend work is required.
- Frequent local travel and occasional TDY required.
- Must possess and/or obtain and maintain a valid state driver’s license.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Providing information to customers on various services; 2) Performing quality control of materials; AND 3) Using an automated system for data entry. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-06.
