About the Position: Serves as Training Requirements and Resources Analyst for the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC). Organizational title is Resident School Manager (SM).
Duties
The Resident School Manager validates training requirements and impacts, costs, manpower and facilities based on the current Structured Manning Decision Review (SMDR) for the coming SMDR programmed Resident structure load.
Builds the training schedules for all programmed resident and non-resident courses, and monitors requirements within Army Training Resource and Requirements System by identifying and resolving discrepancies with users.
Develops scheduling training week calendar and off-line programming for program year.
Provides information and assistance to school deans and user agencies for modification of budget year class schedules.
Compiles and analyzes data reflecting future trends in foreign language training requirements at individual course level by requesting agencies, and as an aggregate for the full period reflected on Army Training Resource and Requirements System.
Monitors Army Training Resource and Requirements System (ATRRS) automated Quota Management System (QMS) and coordinates resolution of discrepancies.
Supervises employees ranging in grades up to and including GS-11.
Plans work to be accomplished, interprets policy, procedures, and establishes priorities.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes1)develop scheduling training week calendar and off-line programming for program year; 2) providing information and assistance to school deans and user agencies for modification of budget year class schedules; 3) compiling and analyzing data reflecting future trends in foreign language training requirements at individual course level by requesting agencies; 4) intermediate and advance computer software skills in word processing, spreadsheet, and database functions; 5) managing language courses and requirements through an automated system such as the Army Training Resource and Requirements System (ATRRS) and Training Resources Arbitration Panels (TRAP). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
