You will serve as a PROGRAM SUPPORT SPECIALIST in the Administrative Department of JOINT EXPED BASE LITTLE CREEK FT STORY.
Duties
You will serve as the Installation controller and procedures expert for correspondence, records and forms management, interpreting Department of the Navy policy in these administrative areas.
You will review existing and proposed directives to ensure accuracy and applicability and recommend cancellation of directives deemed to be obsolete to the Admin Officer.
You will ensure administrative staff is trained appropriately and complies with direction, methodologies and timelines mandated by the Navy in support of the various programs.
You will control and maintain the central, unclassified, electronically retained correspondence archive files and official records of the Commanding Officer.
You will review all command correspondence, to include those signed "By direction" for procedural and administrative correctness.
You will serve as the Command Pay/Personnel Administrator (CPPA).
You will manage the command's Navy Family Assistance and Accountability System (NFAAS).
You will screen message traffic for Permanent Change of Station (PCS) orders of military personnel and provide a monthly Prospective Gain (PG)/ Prospective Loss (PL) report to senior leadership.
You will perform multi-year resource planning and analysis, including short and long range, programming and budgeting guidelines and processes.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Planning and coordinating a variety of administrative and management support functions and services, conducting studies and analyses of functions and work processes to improve mission effectiveness and resource efficiency; 2) Advising and instructing support staff in areas of administrative and management support functions and services; 3) Applying financial rules, regulations and procedures to effectively perform Purchase Card holder duties and responsibilities; 4) Working with a variety of administrative and clerical tasks under the Command and Admin program to include Navy correspondence, directives, enlisted and officer personnel matters, i.e., pay, evaluations, fitness reports, leave, awards. Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree
OR
Possession of an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to this position being filled.
