Duties

You will provide leadership and day to day guidance for various EEO (AEP, DPM, Complaints and SEPM) programs, systems and committees serving the entire workforce to include detachments and other subordinate commands. You will serve as a trainer and Subject Matter Expert for various EEO related subjects and maintain appropriate certifications. You will advise all EEO Program managers and EEO Counselors providing support for EEO Informal and process Formal Complaints, Reasonable Accommodation (RA) program execution and Alternative Dispute Resolution coordination and execution. You will advise Harassment POC to ensuring the proper execution of harassment allegations reviews and disposition of complaints. You will provide advice, guidance, consultation, leadership, implementation and execution of policies, regulations and requirements. You will conduct management inquires, administrative investigations, as well as respond to external and internal data calls, prepare required correspondence, reports, and case files. You will assist the DDEEO in managing workload and day to day EEO Functional Programs. You will serve as a Team Leader building and maintaining collaboration, continuity and skill building to reinforce the Navy values, Command tenants and EEO principles.

Requirements

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalency) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector interpreting and applying civilian government equal employment opportunity and federal human resources laws and regulations to assess internal policies and provide advisory services and process civilian complaints in support of policies and processes to facilitate the removal of barriers to equal employment.
