About the Position: This position is located with the 199th Infantry brigade 3-81 Armor Regiment in Fort Moore, GA
Duties
Coordinate receptions and social functions to honor and entertain foreign visitors and students.
Interact with International Military Students and their dependents from numerous countries during program events.
Assist in recruitment efforts for volunteer civilian and military Host Family Sponsors for International Military Students and their dependents.
Prepare slides, handouts and other relevant material to support the briefing of international military students on the aspects of field studies program events.
Participate in frequent after-duty hour speaking engagements at local schools, churches, and civic groups.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- The employee may be required to work overtime to include weekends and federal holidays, out of cycle, or unscheduled training or on an emergency basis. The employee may be recalled to duty from scheduled time off.
- An appropriate, valid driver's license is required and must be maintained for the position.
- Must obtain and Maintain a Valid Drivers License.
- Must Obtain and Maintain a Secret Clearance.
- Must complete pre-employment physical and annually.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes serving as a public relations representative by executing lesson plans designed to educate others on the American customs and/or culture; and assisting with organizing and/or running social and/or civic functions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
