The FMWRC mission is to create and maintain "FIRST CHOICE" MWR products and services for America's Army, essential to a ready, self-reliant force. This position is located with the JBLM MWR Bowling Program. Duties

Makes minor corrective adjustments to bowling alley machinery and performs periodic preventive maintenance on automatic handling equipment. Cleans and conditions bowling lanes and return racks. Maintains proper stock levels of spare parts and pins for automatic pin setter and mechanical equipment. Assists with general maintenance and cleaning of bowling facilities.

Requirements

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Satisfactory completion of pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
  • Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
  • Incumbent must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift light and medium weight items.
  • Successful completion of a pre-hire physical is required.
  • Must be able to work a schedule that may include working some nights, weekends, and possible holidays.

Qualifications

Applicant must: 1. Be able to understand and follow written instructions. 2. Have the ability to handle tools and equipment used. 3. Be physically able to frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds. 4. Be able to actively bend, stoop, reach and work in awkward positions. NOTE: The above minimum qualifications must be described within the duties of previous work experience listed on the applicant's resume and assessment/questionnaire. A copy of all supporting documents must be submitted at the time of application.
