About the Position: The pay band NH-03 includes the General Schedule grade equivalent to GS-12 to 13. Other initiatives under the Acquisition Demonstration Project include simplified classification, streamlined hiring process and expanded developmental opportunities.
Duties
Supports and manages Security Assistance activities related to Foreign Military Sales, Excess Defense Articles, Building Partner Capacity efforts, foreign disclosure and technology transfer, program protection, export licensing and export policy.
Serves as the Army primary point of contact, cultural, and technical expert on assigned countries in the areas of Security Assistance, Foreign Military Sales, international cooperative research, development, acquisition, and logistics activities.
Coordinates the scheduling of key Security Assistance and Armaments Cooperation meetings for assigned countries and ensures the discussion topics are based on the current and projected initiatives and in the interest of national security.
Develops, obtains, and provides program status of to of Partner Relationship Management Directorate leadership, the DASA DEC, and other senior leadership.
Requirements

- One year trial/probationary period may be required.
- Selectee must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Business travel required up to 35% of the time.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Program Management certification within 60 months as of entrance on duty.

Specialized experience: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (NH-02). Specialized experience:(1) Implementing guidance on FMS cases that require review and coordination. (2) Preparing technical reports to ensure successful program execution in any of the following, Armaments Cooperation, Security Assistance, projects, or programs. (3) Providing recommendations to senior leadership on Armaments Cooperation programs.
