This position is in the Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It is being recruited under 10 U.S.C. 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system. Positions in the Cyber Excepted Service are positions necessary to carry out and support the mission of the United States Cyber Command.
It is in the Professional Work Category at the Full Performance Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure located in the JFHQ - DODIN.
Duties
Manages JFHQ-DODIN cleared personnel and National Industrial Security Program.
Ensures timely and efficient management of the planning and administration of industrial security measures for full range of processing security clearances.
Coordinates and administers personnel security program, policy, and procedures for cleared personnel to include all facets of personnel actions.
Coordinate and process visit requests for personnel traveling to or visiting from outside agencies and organizations.
Provides SCI security education and training for senior management, employees, contractors, and visitors.
Classified information management, handling, storage, briefing, and debriefing. Manages inquiries or investigations involving mishandling, spillage, or unauthorized disclosure of classified information.

- This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.
- This is a Top Secret/SCI position.
- This is a drug testing position, subject to pre-employment and random drug testing.
- This is a Mission Essential position which may require being placed in a 24/7 standby or recall status.
- This position requires ability to obtain and maintain Tier 1 Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC).
Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below
Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-12, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience in researching and implementing SCI security policies and assessing the security posture of organizational elements while providing technical advice and assistance regarding the establishment of comprehensive SCI security programs. Preparing and disseminating instructional material and products to increase security awareness and to reinforce compliance with SCI security policy and providing interpretation and guidance regarding security policies, procedures, standards, training, and methods for identifying and protecting information from national security threats.

Education
