This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Business & Technical Management to recruit and appoint to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: The pay band NH-03 includes the General Schedule grade equivalent to GS-12/13
Duties
Responsible for discussing and helping the customer with their business requirements for a wide range of system and process improvement
projects as well as support complex daily operations within SAP modules.
Responsible to work with and peer review all documents, created by junior business analysts and provide feedback.
Introduces SAP "best practices" to the customer and work alongside the change management team in order to roll out daily operations/support,
project work, and these best practices.
Serve as BASIS Administrator supporting the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command's Software Engineering Center mission of sustaining the Army Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) logistics and financial systems.
Perform SAP system configuration for SAP solutions and support system refreshes, technical refreshes, and other major SAP architectural changes.
Establish precedents in application of problem-solving techniques to enhance existing processes.

- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the
duration of employment.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Engineering and
Technical Management Certification within 36 months of entrance on duty.

In addition to the competencies, one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (NH-2/GS-11) in the Federal service which includes: 1) Performing system administration in an SAP Enterprise Resource Planning environment to include configuration of SAP Enterprise Resource Planning environment: 2) Supporting a Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to include: transport management, documenting software changes and developing software upgrades; 3) Implementing testing plans for new or existing software development components to include testing procedures; 4) Installing new or existing software development components to include the configuration of software components installed.
This non-supervisory position is subject to a salary control point equivalent to the GS-13, step 10 base salary, or if the incumbent's salary currently exceeds the GS-13, step 10 level the incumbent's salary may be put on a salary control point at the incumbent's existing salary.
