About the Position: Sierra Army Depot is located in Herlong CA, a rural town in Northern California. Employees work a 4/10 work week, Mon-Thurs, 0630-1700 hrs. Youth Facilities and daily childcare available. The depot serves as an Army Expeditionary Logistical Support Center, (Mass transportation is available at minimal cost.)

Duties

Provide management proper utilization and management of Sierra Army Depot (SIAD) facilities including real estate and real property. The incumbent is responsible for the continual efficient operation of SIAD real estate, real property, and space management. Ensures that all realty transactions comply with Federal regulations and legislation relative to environmental concerns, historic preservation, archeological resources, and endangered or threatened species of plants and wildlife. Develops and provides specific language for incorporation into real estate out-grants and other authorizing documents that defines terms and conditions deemed to be in the best interest of the installation. Reads, interprets, and applies current regulations in accomplishing real estate transactions, property accountability, inventory, document control, disposal of real property, and space management. Establish and maintains the accountable records of all real and installed property. Prepare monthly real property inventory and building information reflecting status, changes and monetary value.

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a Secret Security clearance.
• Temporary Duty Travel, TDY may be required up to 5% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service which includes: Maintains the accountable records of all real and installed property. In addition to land improvements land, buildings, structures, utility systems and plants. Responsible for the continual efficient operation of real estate, real property and space management. Reads, interprets and applies current regulations in accomplishing real estate transactions, property accountability, inventory, document control, disposal of real property, and space management. OR Education: A Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position, or LL.M. if related. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.) OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18.
