This position is located in the Office of the Deputy Associate Administrator for Federal Sealift, Office of the Associate Administrator for Strategic Sealift, Maritime Administration (MARAD).
This position serves as the Director of Fleet Program Management and is responsible for the Maritime Administration’s three Fleet sites, Ready Reserve Force Safety and Cybersecurity programs, ship disposal program, and the Ship Manager contract Quality Assurance Program.

Qualifications
To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience requirements.To qualify for the Grade 15, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equal or equivalent to the GS-14, it must include AT LEAST 2 OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING:
Experience coordinating the development and execution of critical fleet management programs.
Experience liaising with top-level program, policy, budgeting officials, and other Federal agencies.
Experience reviewing and approving substantial or controversial changes in plans and specifications for vessel repair, maintenance, or operation contracts.
Experience implementing management improvements (e.g., cost reductions, creating efficiencies).

Supervisory – monitors and distributes work amongst a staff.
