Joining the Secret Service, Office of Human Resources, Recruitment Division will allow you to facilitate recruitment activities for applicants in a variety of positions. The incumbent will also coordinate the expedited processing of identified Special Agent, Uniformed Division and Technical Law Enforcement applicants to transition through the hiring process.

Duties
The selectee will serve as a Talent Acquisition Specialist in the Office of Human Resources. Typical work assignments include:
Engaging with potential candidates to provide guidance on programs and encourage applications to areas where Secret Service needs them to serve.
Facilitating the expedited hiring process to process applicants timely and significantly reduce the time to hire.
Managing recruitment programs, activities and functions of special agent, uniformed division officer, technical law enforcement applicants, administrative, professional, and technical positions, inclusive of student programs and the recruitment of persons with disabilities in the region.
Developing recruitment metrics such as regional cost-per-hire, time-to-fill, source-of-hire, actual time-to-start, manager satisfaction, and efficiency metrics to ensure return on recruitment investment.
Conducting recruitment outreach to fulfill key mission-based positions within the Secret Service.
Qualifications
Applicants must demonstrate that they meet the Specialized Experience requirements as noted below.
GS-12: You qualify for the GS-12 level (starting salary $102,163.00) if you possess one one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-11 level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors) performing the following duties:
Conducting research to identify strategies, areas of opportunity, or recruitment platforms to carry out applicant sourcing activities;
Analyzing data to determine the efficiency of recruitment operations; and
Providing guidance on the talent acquisition process to hiring managers, recruitment support specialists or human resources professionals.
GS-13: You qualify for the GS-13 level (starting salary $121,485) if you possess one one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-12 level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors) performing the following duties:
Developing recruitment strategies to source candidates using a variety of techniques (i.e. virtual platforms, phone calls, direct sourcing, networking, etc.);
Evaluating recruitment program metrics (i.e., time-to-fill, source-of-hire, actual time-to-start, manager satisfaction) to develop program plans; and
Advising leadership on the application of recruitment regulations, legislation, or policy to meet hiring objectives.
