You will serve as a INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Public Works Business Line, Resources and Assessment Division of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND HAWAII.
Duties
You will provide program management, oversight, guidance, and training for Inventory Management.
You will review local procedures in all areas affecting inventory management and inventory accuracy including requisition processing, receipt processing, inventory counts, causative research, and inventory adjustments/reversals.
You will ensure physical inventories, physical location audits, wall-to-wall inventories, causative research, and reconciliations are performed as required.
You will monitor corporate metrics and develops Facilities Engineering Command (FEC) and Public Works Business Line (PWBL) specific metrics to measure performance.

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Applying inventory management policies and procedures to maintain control and accountability of all material received, issued, stored, and disposed, while maintaining inventory record accuracy and auditability;
2) Using automated information systems, Business Logistics Applications and software such as Microsoft Office suite, MAXIMO and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to retrieve, process and analyze data;
3) Applying analytical tools and techniques to analyze data and determine trends in order to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of operations; and 4) Developing and presenting local supply and inventory management procedures and reports.
