You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST (IRM) in the Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Manpower & Reserve Affairs) (ASN (M&RA)) organization of ASSTSECNAV M-RA WASHINGTON DC.
Duties
You will assist in developing and implementing ways to enhance internal controls, improve internal controls documentation, and implement new controls.
You will facilitate audits and reviews using knowledge of risk and financial management principles, evaluate and analyze data, and prepare comprehensive reports.
You will ensure each functional area within the department has a point of contact to work with, to implement the Integrated Risk Management Program (IRM).
You will develop the IRM plan and updates it as required.
You will coordinate meetings with internal points of contact to evaluate assessment of internal controls on an ongoing basis.
You will monitor milestone dates for previously reported material weaknesses, reportable conditions, and items to be revisited to ensure that the organization is completing designated tasks in accordance with the Corrective Action Plan (CAP).
You will review and analyze all inputs submitted from leadership' and make a recommendation for inclusion/exclusion in the certification statement.
You will lead the development of training plans and practical implementation guidelines for the Integrated Risk Management Program (IRM).

Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience leading the development of training plans and practical implementation guidelines for Integrated Risk Management (IRM); Experience facilitating audits and reviews using knowledge of risk and financial management principles;
Experience evaluating, analyzing data and preparing comprehensive reports.
