You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the AIR SYSTEMS GROUP, LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT, MAINTENANCE DIVISION, AND LOGISTICS INTEGRATION BRANCH of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
The incumbent will serve on the Joint Primary Aircraft Training Systems (JPATS) Integrated Product Team supporting PMA-273, located at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Duties
You will manage logistics program budget requirements to meet program objectives.
You will manage logistics support activities to meet reliability and supportability requirements.
You will evaluate integrated logistical support (ILS) plans to ensure capability and integration of logistics elements throughout the system life-cycle.
You will resolve integrated logistical support (ILS) problems by developing new approaches and procedures.
You will incorporate Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis outputs into product support and sustainment strategies.
You will direct the planning of resources (e.g., employees, materials, equipment, funds) to execute the NAVAIR Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process.
You will analyze a logistical systems program to identify information assurance technical and policy compliance issues.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11/12) or pay band (DS-04) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Formulating and providing recommendations in the product support strategy to include maintenance concepts and maintainability requirements for aircrafts;
2) Determining the best approach in expending resources to ensure an adequate logistics support posture based on technical information, feedback, and funding availability;
3) Supporting logistics and maintenance conferences throughout the acquisition and support phases to ensure a continuous, effective, and balanced logistics support program;
4) Performing cost analysis and life cycle costing studies for assigned systems;
5) Exploring advanced logistics and maintenance techniques and new technology for possible application or integration into existing systems; and
6) Developing and approving logistics maintenance requirement analyses as well as documenting requirements for Requests For Proposals, Requests For Quotes and other contractual documents based on input from logistics element managers, other ILS considerations, and special aspects of assigned systems.
