About the position: This position will be assigned to the 436FSS/FSWO - Outdoor Recreation Center on Dover AFB.
This is a Temporary position - NTE 30-Aug-2024
Flexible - Works from 0-40 hours per week
Duties
Sets up recreation areas for scheduled activities; records attendance; takes reservations and payment for trips and tours; notifies participants of schedule changes; arranges for equipment or tools, charging them out to participants, and checking them for condition on their return; decorates community or neighborhood centers or recreation centers for special events, activities, or parties; strings tennis or volleyball nets; lines base lines and base paths; sets up batting cages; checks the established safety system of indoor and outdoor recreation facilities and areas, tools, and equipment; posts announcements of scheduled activities and answers inquiries about item, place, transportation, or other matters related to activities scheduled; takes inventory of authorized recreation supplies and equipment; and helps with group activities which require more than one staff monitor, performing specifically assigned tasks.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
- Must be able to lift and carry heavy items up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to satisfactory complete a pre-employment physical.
- Successful completion and favorable adjudication of applicable background investigation (Tier 1 Level) is required.
- Must possess a valid drivers license.
- Must be able to satisfactory complete a drug screening test

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Qualifying Experience:
Practical knowledge of recreational activities, rules, and procedures.
Ability to safeguard and handle cash and skill in the use and maintenance of various recreational equipment and facilities are desirable; however, no experience is required.
Work involves walking, bending, standing, and climbing.
Must be able to lift and carry heavy items up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
Must be able to satisfactory complete pre-employment physical.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Position of Trust.
