About the position: This position will be assigned to the Arts & Crafts Center on Dover Air Force Base. As a FLEX employee, you may work anywhere between 0-40 hours per week, on an as needed basis.

Duties

Assists in the operation of the Frame Shop and Engraving Shop. Receives orders for custom printing, engraving, and framing. Receives and properly completes order forms. Ensures payment for merchandise and or services. Collects, safeguards, and deposits fees received from customers. Conduct periodic inventory and ensures inventory levels are adequate to prepare orders. Stocks merchandise received. Assists in the operation of the following equipment, class 4 Laser Engraver. Computerized engravers, large format printers, heat press/seal press, mat/glass cutter, framing equipment, Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop. Assists in the assembling of frames, mats, pictures, and plaques. Provides classroom instruction to include but not limited to basic framing and general arts and crafts. Will maintain all equipment. Must be able to frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds. Must satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
