This position will be assigned to the Air Force Service Center. This is a regular full-time category position with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Employees appointed to a regular category position are eligible for benefits.

Duties

Serves as the primary Air Force Services representative overseeing NAF credit card processing and system integration for the centralized Merchant Processing Program. Researches and identifies new credit card terminal devices/Point of Sales system options in adherence to payment acceptance compliance and IAW the merchant processing agreement. Proactive in identifying and modernizing payment acceptance platforms, integration requirements, and configuration/implementation requirements. Maintains a high level of knowledge surrounding new products, equipment(s), features, and services. Engages with merchant processor and other credit card/gift card processors on a daily basis to resolve questions or issues on behalf of installations and AFSVC. Coordinate with internal AFSVC departments on projects as assigned and/or workflow processes that exist between groups, to ensure Merchant Processing Program is represented and to maintain procedural flow for all groups and processing of requirement. Conducts daily reconciliation of credit card cash subsidiary, maintains the merchant processing master data of account listings and user accounts, updating as necessary. Analyzes terminal devices, transaction processing method, and transaction counts for compliance reporting requests through the preparation of quarterly merchant portfolio overviews. Drafts advisory correspondence based on findings, conclusions, and recommendations of analyses. As requested, develops and/or assists in preparing and delivering presentations on merchant capabilities in training courses/workshops. Consistently reviews current business processes, procedures, internal controls, and provides recommended solutions. Performs work of broad scope and complexity that requires application of demonstrated ability to interpret, select, adapt, and apply many guidelines, precedents, and card brand regulations which relate to the area of specialization. Qualifying Experience: Requires a bachelor's degree in business/finance/accounting, or proven experience in credit card payment processes, customer service, and/or payment products/equipment. Minimum of 2 years customer service experience. Experience evaluating data related to cash management, interpreting regulations/policies and apply them appropriately. Experience in Microsoft Office applications sufficient to prepare spreadsheets, correspondence, reports, and presentations with speed and accuracy. Experience with oral and written communication to synthesize and articulate complex topics throughout the organization. Accuracy in work, with interruptions while meeting deadlines. Experience managing relationships with customers and in a team environment, multi-task, and be self-directed. Position requires in-office duty and telework days. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: Experience in project/program administration.
