About the position: This position will be assigned to the Outdoor Recreation Center.
The position will be filled as a flexible position and the schedule may vary between 0 and 40 hours per week. Schedule may also include occasional evening and weekend hours based on squadron/program requirements. The appointment is for the 2024 Spring/Summer season only.
Candidate must be able to frequently lift and carry objects weighing 40 pounds and occasionally more.
Duties
Performs and or/assists other recreation assistants or specialists in the operation and maintenance of outdoor recreational facilities and equipment to assure safe condition and cleanliness. Performs minor repairs and adjustments. Issues and collects recreational rental equipment. Collects, safeguards and deposits fees received from customers. Assists in conducting inventories, maintains records. As necessary demonstrates basic techniques used and ensures that safety rules are adhered to.

Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
- The position requires the satisfactory completion of a pre-employment physical.
- This position is a Drug Testing designated position. A pre-employment screening is required.
- This position requires shift work that may include weekends, nights and holiday

You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
