About the Position: Supports the US Army Corps of Engineers' (USACE) Task Force Virgin Islands Puerto Rico (TF VIPR) community engagement & outreach efforts for the Civil Works, Military, Environmental, & Interagency and International Services (IIS) Programs/Projects within TF VIPR's Area of Responsibility in both internally with the USACE projects' vertical teams and externally by developing District outreach initiatives with current and prospective customers/partners/communities/stakeholders.
Duties
Supports the District/Task Force VIPR Business Development Program (DBDP) Strategic Planner and District Project Managers in all District/Task Force VIPR Outreach efforts.
Makes initial contact with requestors, ensures follow-up, and provides outreach and communications to a diverse audience of stakeholders.
Conducts studies and analyzes Task Force VIPR/District capabilities in support of internal and external customers and stakeholders.
Analyzes ways to improve communication systems for disseminating information about the Task Force VIPR’s programs/projects and coordinates with workforce managers in many echelons to integrate outreach activities.
Prepares a variety of outreach products (correspondence, fact sheets, brochures, briefings, slide presentations, news articles/releases, reports, project placemats, maps, graphs, charts, etc.).

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes supporting the community engagement and outreach efforts for the Civil Works, Military, Environmental, and Interagency and International Services (IIS) Programs/Projects within the organization's Area of Responsibility (AOR) in both internally with the projects' vertical teams and externally by developing outreach initiatives with current and prospective customers/partners/communities/stakeholders. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
