This position is part of the Haskell Indian Nations University, Bureau of Indian Education (BIE). As a Tractor Operator you will be responsible for tractor operation and grounds maintenance. Duties

As a Tractor Operator WG-5705-6, your typical work assignments may include the following: Operate a field-type tractor and attached or towed equipment. Perform minor maintenance and preventative maintenance on equipment. Perform seasonal gardening tasks and projects planned for the campus. Perform seasonal tasks such as fertilizing, preparing seed beds, transplanting, laying sod, aerating, pruning, trimming, and applying chemicals to plants according to directions.

Qualifications

Applicants will be rated in accordance with the OPM Federal Wage System Qualifications and will be evaluated on their ability to perform duties of the position rather than the length of experience. Eligibility will be determined by the relevance, scope and quality of all experience and training.
