This position is part of the Haskell Indian Nations University, Bureau of Indian Education. As a Tractor Operator Leader you will be responsible for leading three or more other workers to accomplish trades and labor work, operating a field-type tractor and attached or towed equipment, performing seasonal gardening tasks and projects planned for the campus, and delivering janitorial supplies and performing janitorial duties in classrooms, offices, dormitories, hallways, and restrooms.

Duties

As a Tractor Operator Leader WL-5705-6, your typical work assignments may include the following: Leads three or more other workers to accomplish trades and labor work. Performs regular nonsupervisory trades and labor work as members of the work crews or groups they lead. Operates a field-type tractor and attached or towed equipment. Performs seasonal gardening tasks and projects planned for the campus; considers suitability of the weather, degree of moisture in the soil and stage of plant growth in deciding method of action. Delivers janitorial supplies to employees of Haskell and performs janitorial duties in classrooms, offices, dormitories, hallways, and restrooms. Applicants will be rated in accordance with the OPM Federal Wage System Qualifications and will be evaluated on their ability to perform duties of the position rather than the length of experience.
