This position is located in the Division of Depositor and Consumer Protection, Administrative Management and Operations Branch of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation providing support in the areas of providing management assistance and advice to senior management officials, supervisory and administrative management and employees.

Duties
Provides advice, guidance and oversight on matters involving the full range of personnel management policy and procedure, management analyses issues, record keeping issues and related functions such as voucher audit, time and attendance, leave, payroll, facilities, records management, etc.
Researches and develops Division policy and procedures on a wide variety of administrative issues, including recruitment, staffing position management, travel, facilities, records management, etc.
Serves as the liaison between the Division of Depositor and Consumer Protection (DCP) and the Division of Administration (DOA) regarding personnel management and position management policy, procedures and other matters affecting administrative programs.
Performs special research projects in support of operating program initiative or problems that have been presented to the office for resolution. Research will involve the full range of personnel management and other issues, including labor relations, employee relations and travel.
Provides legal and regulatory reference to all policy development.
Directs and/or attends formal meetings relating to Union Contracts, Administrative Procedures, Facilities, Records Management etc., to management.
Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GG-12 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience overseeing and/or coordinating personnel management and administrative program operations related to at least (4) of the following areas: position management, recruitment, staffing, travel, awards, personnel/payroll operations, and facilities.
