This position is located at Departmental Offices, Terrorism and Financial Intelligence-Intelligence Analysis. As the Director Technology Advisor, you will analyze and oversee aspects within the area of Intelligence and Analysis pertaining to the technology innovation program and oversee OIA's Office of Information and Technology section(s) consisting of the planning and engineering of the organization's cloud computing infrastructure and applications or on premise related network maintenance.

Duties

Pursuant to 50 USC 3024 (v), and with concurrence and consultation with the Director of National Intelligence and the Director of the Office of Personnel Management, this position is being established in the excepted service as an element of the Intelligence Community within the Department of the Treasury. As the Director Technology Advisor, you will: - Exercise program leadership, develop plans and policies, establish priorities and evaluate innovation program effectiveness. - Evaluate, conduct and advise on sensitive financial research in response to OIA's search requests. - Direct the development of data, provisions of expertise, insights and proposals, and execute comparable activities which support development of goals and objectives related to high levels of technical program management and development or formulation. - Plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work.

Requirements

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For the GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes demonstrated, professional experience in ALL of the following: -Establishing and maintaining an institutional web strategy that supports and advances the institutions mission by leading pan-institutional working groups; AND -Leading the development, coordination and maintenance of a highly available, reliable, and secure integrated information technology systems such as Microsoft M365 or Amazon Web Services or similar; AND -Managing digital platform services strategy, planning, implementation, and review; AND -Experience directly supervising staff and evaluating the work of contractors.
