You will serve as an INTERDISCIPLINARY COMMUNITY PLANNER in the INSTALLATIONS AND LOGISTICES DEPARTMENT, HEADQUARTERS U.S. MARINE CORPS of MARCORPS NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION.
Duties
You will review architectural and engineering (A and E ) statements of work.
You will prepare project time schedules and cost estimates.
You will provide technical review of design calculations, analyses, drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with project objectives and standards.
You will coordinate all design phases with cognizant managers and staff elements.
You will develops requirements and management plans.
You will monitor construction assure compliance with contract provisions and standards.
You will develop inspection, maintenance and repair standards.
You will provide technical input to component and /or command publications, guidance and criteria.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying advanced planning, estimating, or engineering/architectural principles to facilities/infrastructure beddown/construction, sustainment, restoration, modernization, reconfiguration, and repair for organizational requirements in support of worldwide operations in accordance with national/local standards and energy/environmental/health/safety, and natural resources compliance. Desired experience with Master Planning, special studies, MILCON, and O&M Programs.
