About the Position: Perform a wide variety of inventory, research, receipt, and reconciliation, in order to maintain an accurate custodial balance of warehouse supplies located in Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

Duties

Conducts inventories and location surveys by counting stocks and/ or verifying locations in the warehouse. Responsible for receiving and validating management data for submission of a customer request such as item description, item id, unit of purchase, unit of issue, and unit price. Responsible for organizing, scheduling, and processing for turn-in bulk quantities of excess supplies to the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office (DRMO). Maintains Supply records according to established procedures, SOPs, U. S. Army Medical Center of Excellence (MEDCoE) and Army Regulations.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes working with standardized supply regulations, policies, procedures, or other instructions relating to the specific functions assigned; Perform supply work with one or more automated supply data bases to enter, correct, and retrieve recurring reports and to structure and retrieve specialized reports; Perform a range of standard clerical assignments and resolve recurring problems; Provide answers recurring inquiries regarding the status of requisitions, delivery of material, and other questions received from customers, vendors, or other organizations; requisitioning and purchasing procedures, item histories, procurement documents, shipment invoices, or other available records or files; Determine the status of supply actions or reasons for delay and answer inquiries orally or in writing; Operate manual and mechanized equipment to move, stock equipment, insures material handling equipment (MHE) are safeguard in designated areas to enforce safety requirements. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
