This position is located at the United States Mint in Washington, DC in the Human Resources Division. As a Human Resources Specialist, you will be managing resources, and providing quality services to optimize the time, cost, and value of Human Resources processes and services that support the mission of the United States Mint's Human Resources Operations.
Duties
As a Human Resources Specialist, you will:
Be responsible for managing resources and providing quality services to optimize the time, cost and value of Human Resources processes and services that support the mission of the United States Mint
Advise management on and oversee position management/organizational development, human resources advisory services, Administrative Resource Center oversight/coordination functions, staffing support, employee and labor relations, disputes and technical representation, human resources development and data information requests
Provide policy guidance, oversight and compliance for services that are performed by the Administrative Resources Center; and work closely with the Management Advisory Services Branch with responsibility for addressing oversight and compliance matters
Qualifications

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
To qualify for the GS-12, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level, OR equivalent public or private sector experience. For this position, specialized experience is defined as:
-Serving as a Human Resource (HR) Management Specialist utilizing HR principles, concepts, and techniques to perform duties in two or more of the following:
1.) Recruitment and Placement; OR
2) Position Management and Classifications; OR
3) Labor-Employee Relations; OR
4) Human Resources Advisory Services.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-12 you must have been at the GS-11level for 52 weeks.
