Qualifications

To qualify for the GS-15 level, you must have 1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level defined as provide leadership, oversight and technical expertise for environmental protection programs related to tribal consultation, coordination, and administration of tribal grants including Indian Environmental General Assistance Program grants; coach mentor and lead others; establish performance measures to assess the effectiveness, efficiency, and progress of a team.
Your answers to the online assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of guidance related to the implementation of the rules and regulations related to tribal consultation, coordination and tribal grants administration.
2. Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions of subordinate organizational units.
3. Ability to mentor, motivate, and appraise staff.
4. Skill in oral communication.
5. Skill in written communication.
