About the Position: This position is with the US Army Cadet Command, 7th BDE, University of Akron, Akron, OH

Duties

Provide sound advice on subjects such as recruiting, retention, and incentives management. Responsible for the development and execution of recruiting plans Responsible for gathering, identifying and analyzing recruiting program issues ensuring that programs function effectively and effectively make recommendations to correct deficient program issues. Participate in recruiting activities in pre-selected areas in an effort to increase public awareness of the ROTC program.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Business travel required 30% of the time/ Employee required to attend C3P0 training 3rd week from EOD at Fort Knox, Kentucky.
  • Must successfully complete a physical
  • Must successfully complete an investigation
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Must have current immunizations
  • May be required to complete a 1 year probation period.
  • May perform additional duties as Unit Prevention Leader, which requires travel to conduct testing. If selected to perform these duties, Command will ensure incumbent completes and maintains DA UPL Certification Training IAW AR-600-85 .

Education

For this job, you may qualify if your education meets the definitions below: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree LL.M., if related to the position being filled (TRANSCRIPTS MUST BE ATTACHED).
