This position is located in the Policy Branch, Policy, Planning, and Budget Division (PP&B), Financial Directorate, United States Mint. The PP&B is responsible for resource planning, performance analysis and financial policy development and updates for the United States Mint.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 14 days of the closing date of this announcement. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Be sure all experience is documented in your resume by indicating place of employment, job title, length of time performing the duties, and the name and contact information for the supervisor. We must be able to verify this experience in your resume in order for you to receive credit. Specialized experience: For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes experience in ALL of the following: - Interpreting, formulating, or developing financial policy, guidance, procedures, and practices for an organization; AND - Experience as a supervisor or team lead responsible for the day-to-day operations of a branch within an organization; AND - Providing technical and analytical advice regarding financial methods, policies, procedures for projects and programs. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-14 you must have been at the GS-13level for 52 weeks.
