About the Position: This position is with the National Guard Bureau, Sustainment, Installations and Environmental Battalion (SIEB), at Camp J T Robinson, Arkansas. Camp Robinson is home to the PEC and its 75-acre campus consisting of 25 buildings and a total staff of approximately 420 military, civilian contractor personnel. We annually provide instruction to over 20,000 members of the military force. This position is Term and Obligated. See "Additional Information" section for more details.

Duties

Work with training developers to update and revise lesson plans to reflect new developments in the field. Conduct classroom instruction via resident/on-site or distance learning modalities. Understand a variety of training methods and utilization of current automated logistics systems. Responsible for implementation, evaluation, and providing recommendations for the revision of logistics training courses.

Requirements

  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time.

Qualifications

Who May Apply: US Citizens In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Additional information about transcripts is in this document. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that demonstrates a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and of the methods and techniques of instructions, which includes: classroom teaching or instructing with emphasis in one or more of the following areas: property accounting supply and management, warehouse operations and food service operations; assisting in updating or evaluating training/course materials and training aids, in the area of logistics. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education: have successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. with a major study in education or a subject area related to the position to be filled, such as, adult education. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts) OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
