This position is located at Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, ENFORCEMENT. The incumbent serves as a subject matter expert and liaison between the Office of Enforcement and the litigation support team within the Office of Technology and Innovation.

Duties

As a Senior eLaw Litigation Support Specialist, you will: Serve as a senior Case Manager for litigation support activities associated with one or more complex cases and/or projects, as dictated by current project requirements and staffing levels. Develop project plans and cost and duration budgets for eDiscovery projects, helping to ensure compliance with Federal and administrative court rules. Provide technical support on discovery, litigation and other information technology matters that concern the identification, collection, processing, review, analysis, production, and preservation of records, including electronically stored information (ESI). Collaborate with the litigation support team in identifying, inspecting, analyzing, and evaluating various data environments and software systems for files or other data relevant to an investigation.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience: For the CN-60, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the CN-53 grade level in the Federal service. (For qualification purposes, the CN-53 is broadly equivalent to the GS-13).Specialized experience for this position includes: Providing advice, assistance, and technical support in electronic discovery processes and systems to support investigations and litigation of an organization; AND Assisting in the management of electronic data and document collections and the operation of eDiscovery systems; AND Managing projects involving the development and implementation of eLaw solutions to meet an organization's information system requirement; AND Performing document data analytics and utilizing advanced artificial intelligence tools to facilitate and prioritize document review by litigation teams. CFPB uses an experience-based process to set pay for employees. Experience is evaluated and credited using the employee's résumé. To ensure that all of your prior work experience (e.g., internships, volunteer work, details, part-time, self-employment, secondary jobs, etc.) is considered and accounted for, please ensure that your résumé covers the following: your entire work history with specific start and end dates (MM-DD-YYYY) provided for each listed position hours worked per week for each position degrees and the dates conferred (MM-YYYY) Part-time experience will be credited pro-rata based on a 40-hour work week, while work of 32 hours or more will be rounded up to full-time experience. If you have multiple positions that have overlapping start and/or end dates, only 40 hours of experience will be credited for a given work week.
