This position is located in the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA), Office of Mission Support (OMS), Human Capital and Personnel Security (HC&PS), Human Capital and reports to the Assistant Director of Human Capital (ADHC). The primary purpose for this position is to serve as TIGTA's learning and development program manager with full responsibility for the integration of training, leadership development, and adult education.

Duties

The following are the duties of this position at the GS-14. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position. Serves as TIGTA's learning and development program manager. Provides policy and procedural guidance in areas such as training support coordination and training evaluation systems. Leverages technology to support efficient program delivery and communication. Develops procedures, criteria, and standards for use in identifying and evaluating TIGTA's training needs. Conducts comprehensive evaluation of organizational goals, objectives, staff, equipment requirements, and organizational structures and identifies and recommends solutions to training needs.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience: For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes: - Experience designing and delivering adult instructional activities for face to face and virtual environments; AND -Experience utilizing adult learning principles and best practices to develop, implement, and evaluate leadership development training programs; AND - Experience leading and developing training using a learning management system. Specialized Experience: For the GS-12, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes: - Administering training courses or programs in order to promote career and employee development; AND - Assisting in providing training program oversight; AND - Providing support to employees, supervisors, and managers on employee development program policies, processes and procedures. Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks. For the GS-12, you must have been at the GS-11 level for 52 weeks. Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
