You will serve as an Electronics Technician in the Facility and Infrastructure Management Department of FLTREADCEN EAST.
Duties
You will provide engineering guidance and technical assistance primarily on electrical/electronic software
issues related to the facility’s automated and non-automated test and manufacturing systems and equipment.
You will analyze and reduce technical information for the assessment of the facility’s test and manufacturing systems and equipment and understand their operation and problems under various situations.
You will review technical information and report to project leaders or supervision on the feasibility and engineering soundness of technical engineering proposals.
You will plan and carry out electrical/electronic/software designs, design modifications, and applications of in-service plant test and manufacturing systems and equipment.
You will conduct technical reviews of contractor engineering work for electrical/electronic/software redesign, design modification, and overhaul of facility test and manufacturing systems and equipment.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
(1) Providing engineering guidance and technical assistance primarily on electrical/electronic software issues related to the facility's automated and non-automated test and manufacturing systems and equipment; (2) Analyzing and reducing technical information for the assessment of the facility's test and manufacturing systems and equipment and understanding their operation and problems under various situations; (3) Reviewing technical information and reporting to project leaders or supervision on the feasibility and engineering soundness of technical engineering proposals; (4) Planning and carrying out electrical/electronic/software designs, design modifications, and applications of in-service plant test and manufacturing systems and equipment; and (5) Conducting technical reviews of contractor engineering work for electrical/electronic/software redesign, design modification, and overhaul of facility test and manufacturing systems and equipment.
