You will serve as a MOTOR VEHICLE DISPATCHER in the Range and Training Area Management Division of MCIWESST G-35 of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON.
Duties
You will dispatch vehicles for work assignments in scheduled training areas and training systems.
You will review requests for vehicles to ensure that all regulatory requirements are satisfied.
You will assign approproate type and size of vehicle or equipment on the basis of the work requirement data and ensure that the item is in operating condition.
You will assign qualified operators to the vehicles as necessary, making sure that the operator possesses the required license.
You will prepare and maintain daily dispatch logs with dispatch and accounting data containing information such as the vehicle number, operator's name, date, destination, etc.
You will coordinate with the GSA representative for reppairs or maintenance on GSA vehicles.
You will prepare and submit requisitions for vehicle auxiliary equipment and coordinated installation with the supporting maintenance activity.
You will extract daa from records and provides input for reports concerning vehicle and equipment utilization, fuel consumption, dates of maintenance, daily dispatches, accident investigations, etc.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- You will re required occasionally to lift material and supplies of approximately fifty pounds in weight.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Dispatching vehicles, preparing and maintaining vehicle dispatch logs, and coordinating vehicle maintenance and repair.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, applicants may qualify for this position using eduction substitution. To qualify through education substitution, applicant must possess:
4 years of education above high school
Applicant may also qualify through a combination of educationa end experience which when combined together equal 100%.
