This position is located in the Management Directorate, Intake and Document Production, Intake Operations Division. As a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst, you will provide oversight of a wide range of administrative and analytical duties in support of the intake and processing of immigration applications and benefits.

Duties

Serves as primary authority on decisions of fiscal policy matters, mission objectives, and emphasis of designated program areas. Review applications and petitions that the financial agent is unable to process and develop solutions to continue processing. Act as a liaison with various internal and external subject matter experts and stakeholders. Assign work to subordinates based on priorities and capabilities of employees, develops work plans, quality standards, and organizes recourses. Manage the review of operation activities to identify new processes and procedures to improve efficiency and make recommendation to leadership based on findings. Conduct studies; analyze and evaluate proposed changes; research and investigate new or improved business and management practices to determine the impact on program operations.

The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 04/03/2024. Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 04/03/2024. GS-13: You qualify at the GS-13 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties: Reviewing applications or petitions and making determinations; developing solutions to allow for continued processing. Assessing operational activities to improve efficiency and formulate regulations. Interpreting legislation and policy to provide guidance on unusual situations. Serving as a representative to an organization for internal and external stakeholders.
