You will serve as a FACILITIES OPERATIONS SPECIALIST in the SURFACE WARFARE ENGINEERING SCHOOL COMMAND (SWESC) of SURFACE WARFARE OFFICERS SCHOOL.
Duties
You will coordinate a productivity improvement program for facilities maintenance.
You will conduct quality control inspections of repairs, maintenance, or construction efforts performed by contractors to verify compliance with facility development.
You will evaluate facility utility systems and service requirements for maintenance standards compliance.
You will evaluate possible approaches and solutions to unusual maintenance and repair problems using technical judgment, experience, and exploration of available resources.
You will interface with facility management to resolve construction issues within an organization.
You will collaborate with supervisors or project managers to establish facilities work priorities.
You will analyze facility contract work to identify and resolve issues associated with projects.
You will determine allocation of resources for facilities projects or programs.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Plans, organizes and coordinates training facility support services; 2) Provides detailed analysis of training facility support resources, including space management to determine proper balance between resource requirement and availability; 3) Utilizes construction and maintenance standards and practices for facility support services; and 4) Assists with conducting detailed analysis of program/project functions and processes, and recommends changes for improvement in the effectiveness and efficiency of operations. Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of a Ph.D or equivalent graduate degree in engineering, industrial arts, property management, or business administration
OR
Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a doctoral degree in engineering, industrial arts, property management, or business administration
OR
Possession of an LL.M.. that is related to this position being filled.
