About the Position: This position is located with the 404th Army Field Support Brigade, Log Readiness Ctr, Maintenance Division, Production Control Branch, JBLM WA.
Duties
Serve as a Production Control Equipment Records Parts Specialist performing work utilizing the Global Combat Support System-Army control, schedule, and manage work requests.
Determine and estimate costs.
Manage parts and material requirements for maintenance repairs.
Maintain the work-center bench stock areas.
Assist in the operation and maintenance of the Hazardous and Contaminated Waste Satellite Accumulation Area.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a Tier 1 (NACI) investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
- This position requires the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a Forklift Operator Certification
- This position may require the incumbent to travel (TDY) up to 5% of the time

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of an Tools and Parts Attendant without more than normal supervision. Must possess the ability to perform common tasks including 1) utilizing a web-based automated logistics system, such as Global Combat Support System-Army to control, schedule, and manage work requests; 2) operating an automated logistic system to perform task such as receiving, storing, issuing, and re-warehousing materials, and 3) managing parts and material requirements for maintenance repairs- Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating.

PHYSICAL EFFORT: Works on hard surfaces and in work areas that require constant standing, stooping, and bending; when working on the computer terminal may require prolonged periods of sitting. Frequently lifts and carries items weighing up to 10 pounds; occasionally handles heavier items.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is primarily performed indoors in areas that are well lighted, heated, and ventilated. Occasionally exposed to outside elements when traveling between shops and other installation locations. Exposed to the possibility of cuts, bruises and strains. Work is sometimes dusty, dirty and greasy.
