As the supervisor of the Operations Team, the employee plays a crucial role in planning, prioritizing, and assigning work, ensuring effective advisory services, and maintaining continuous progress towards organizational goals.

Qualifications

To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience requirements.To qualify for the Grade 14, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-13, it must include: Experience in developing, utilizing and interpreting Federal civilian human resources policies and procedures in order to advise senior leaders and management on strategic and workforce planning, recruitment and placement, classification benefits, and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). Experience in managing human resources project and/or initiatives, while applying advanced human resources principles, concepts and practices. Experience in developing objectives and operating procedures for human resources programs.  KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: Leadership - Influences, motivates, and challenges others; adapts leadership styles to a variety of situations. Human Capital Management - Builds and manages workforce based on organizational goals, budget considerations, and staffing needs. Ensures that employees are appropriately recruited, selected, appraised, and rewarded; takes action to address performance problems. Manages a multi-sector workforce and a variety of work situations. Influencing/Negotiating (‡) - Persuades others; builds consensus through give and take; gains cooperation from others to obtain information and accomplish goals.
