This position is located in the Division of Depositor and Consumer Protection, Administrative Management and Operation Branch of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and is responsible for implementing strategies to manage knowledge and information as a strategic asset.

Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify for CG-13, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 12 grade level or above in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is defined as: Implementing strategies to manage knowledge and information systems as a strategic asset and consulting on instructional programs.
To qualify for CG-14, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 13 grade level or above in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is defined as: Implementing strategies to manage knowledge and information systems as a strategic asset and developing or consulting on instructional programs; and applying communication methodologies, and technologies to disseminate information.
Applicants must have met the qualification requirements (including selective placement factors – if any) for this position within 30 calendar days of the closing date of this announcement.
