About the Position: The mission of the Corpus Christi Army Depot is to overhaul, repair, modify, retrofit, test and modernize helicopters, engines and components for all services and customers. We provide worldwide on-site maintenance services, aircraft crash analysis, lubricating oil analysis, and chemical, metallurgical and training.
Duties
Serve as the Master Scheduler for Aircraft and/or a variety of Aircraft components, engines, and related sub-assemblies.
Apply a working knowledge of Enterprise resource planning (ERP), Systems Applications and Products (SAP), and/or Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) to input and retrieve data, and update required scheduling data.
Plan and coordinate corrective actions and establish effective production plans for difficult and complex problems that may occur during the pre-planning of the work in progress phase.
Monitor and analyze a variety of production information and data, plans and schedules.
Ensure effective and efficient flow of aircraft components, engines, and related sub-assembly programs and processes and to prevent or resolve production problem situations.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes Utilizing automated systems such as supply and scheduling applications to input and retrieve data for aircraft and component schedules; Monitoring production processes and developing information for long range planning; and Alleviating production delays by assisting in the planning and scheduling of priority workload. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).

Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business Management, Logistics Management or Supply Management.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
